Meet the Therapist
I know that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. We all face challenges in life; some endure more than others, but you're not expected to handle it all on your own. I'm passionate about providing a safe environment that is validating, engaging, and focused on positive change to help both children and adults heal through their unique therapeutic journey.
Through my own exploration of my family history and its impact on our attachment styles, I find meaning in exploring this with my clients through attachment work and emotionally focused approaches to heal from painful emotions. I also use narrative therapy to identify harmful patterns and re-write narratives that are no longer serving us.
My background includes earning my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Kansas, as well as my graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Friends University. I'm currently in the second phase of my play therapy certification through Heartland Play Therapy. I have extensive training in the practice of Child-Centered Play Therapy.
